Ask a question

Why do I need a buyers agent?

Ken: An expert buyer’s agent can make a world of difference, and I navigate my clients toward the best deals. Time after time I come across buyers that choose to submit offers directly with the listing agent, and they become frustrated spending months looking on their own with nobody looking after their best interests. An expert buyer’s agent can alleviate the burden of the home search, help direct and lead your team of experts, and guide you toward the best home at the best price.

What was your profession before real estate?

Ken: I was an intellectual property attorney at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, Silicon Valley's largest and most prestigious firm.

Do you or your team members have any expertise in rebuilding or remodeling?

Ken: I have built and flipped several homes in Silicon Valley, but the greatest expertise comes from our VP of Development and Construction, Matt Griffis. Matt has a Masters in Construction Engineering & Management from Stanford, has built several homes, and can solve even the most complex of floorplan faults.

Can you provide legal guidance for questions we may have?

Ken: DeLeon Realty has attorneys on staff, myself included, who understand the nuances of real estate law and are able to offer guidance to clients on various potential legal issues related to your transaction. We go above and beyond in providing analysis that your average agent is not qualified or capable of, and do our best to simplify complex issues such as providing our buyers with a summary of the issues found in the disclosures and inspection reports.

What percentage of your business is devoted to listings?

Ken: None! Most successful agents are bogged down with time-consuming listings, forcing their buyer clients to take a back seat. I devote the entirety of my time to representing buyers, allowing me to be the foremost home-buying expert in Silicon Valley.

How is your team structured?

Ken: Our team of Buyer Specialists is structured in a way that that allows us to provide clients with the most unbiased representation possible. Not only do we not take commission on DeLeon Realty listings, our team does not earn a commission on any homes that they sell. Instead, akin to an elite law firm, our agents are on a salary compensation model. You will not find pushy sales tactics here, only honest and truthful representation of your best interests.
